In the mid 1980s he co-organized one of the worlds best live concerts which was broadcasted around the world and watched by an estimated 1.9 billion people and raised millions for the famine ridden people of Ethiopia Not only is Bob Geldof KBE a campaigner for charitable good causes but he is also an astute businessman, co-owning television production companies and producing numerous documentaries.
He has acquired several awards during his career including a Knighthood and a nomination for the Nobel Peace prize.
He is clearly a celebrity who has used his high profile image to admirable good use and his speeches and public speaking are inspiring to all ages.
